“Just take your time and sift through all of them.”
Marla brushed her trembling fingers lightly across the pictures. She stopped on one, closed her eyes, and sucked in a breath. “This one.”
Detective Marsh leaned forward. “Are you sure?”
She nodded. “It’s him. I’d bet my life on it.”
Marla winced at how true that statement was. As a blind psychic woman, she knew she’d been lucky to escape. The man who’d attacked her, as well as numerous other women, had to be stopped.
“You were lucky,” Marsh told her.
“I know.” She had lived to tell. Many hadn’t.

I’m not sure that her being blind or a psychic were doing much work in this. You could eliminate both details and the story would be unchanged. But perhaps this is an excerpt from a longer work

Maybe not. But others confirmed it, it would probably help. IF anyone else is still alive.

I’m not sure it would stand up in court, I hope she picked the right one, or an innocent man will find himself in a lot of bother!

It happens, which is why I’d hate to have to decide someone’s fate.

Dear Shirley,
A blind psychic picking the perpetrator’s photo? Hm. They might want to find more evidence. Intriguing story. You left me wanting to know more.

Definitely wouldn’t want to go on her story alone. But I like to stick to exactly 100 words.

I suspect her attacker let her live because she was blind and couldn’t tell. How wrong he was – he might not be convicted for attacking her but if the police suspect him of the other crimes/murders – well justice will follow.
Clever story.

I believe her, but will a jury I wonder? Hopefully, this is one more link in a chain of evidence. Nice one Shirley.
Here’s my story
